CAUTION!! LOTS O’ PHOTOS AHEAD!!
Have you ever met two people and said to yourself, “They belong together.” That’s exactly how I feel about Kibby and Colin. It’s a rare and refreshing thing when you see two people so in love that nothing else in this world matters to them except the other. And for us to have the chance to witness that kind of love? Well…it’s a privilege.
To top it off, these two are INCREDIBLY photogenic. Add that to their amazing bond and their no-holds-barred attitude in front of the camera and you’ve got two extremely giddy photographers. We seriously drove away from this session in awe.
We certainly love all of our clients and we have a blast with every single one of them, but our afternoon with Colin and Kibby was amazing. We had so much fun shooting them and we ended the day feeling inspired. I’m so excited to share their photos with you. When I sat down to choose the photos I wanted to blog, I was faced with a daunting task. Where on earth do I start?!?! There are just too many I have to show off, so you’ll just have deal with it. Enjoy!

I want you to notice Kibby’s eyes in these photos. She has got the most piercing gaze that kills me every time. I LOVE it!!
I *heart* this photo. If this doesn’t say I’m-so-excited-to-be-in-love, I don’t know what does.

If you could hear my inner monologue as I scroll through these photos, it would probably go something like this:
“Awww. Love.”
“Are you KIDDING me?! I love it.”
“So sweet and tender.”
“They are so hot! I LOVE THEM!”
“Sigh…swoon…”

Check out Kibby’s bling! It is so unique, I just LOVE it. I admire a girl who dares to be different.
I know you’ve already seen this photo, but I love it so much. I just had to show it off again.
This is one of my FAVORITE spots. I stumbled upon it by total accident and what a lucky accident it was. It’s such a blink-and-you-miss-it place, but I think it looks incredible. All the textures with the bricks, bars, and windows plus the natural light streaming in…it’s like a photographer’s dream. (Although I have to admit, it’s a little SCARY! I was totally afraid a homeless guy might pop up from the basement and chase us off!)
*Sigh* I’m running out of adjectives. Hawt. Period.
Before we go any further, I have to take a second to brag about our clients. We’ve been so lucky with all the people we’ve worked with over the past couple years. We’re always coming up with crazy ideas and it’s so much fun to have clients who dive right into it with us. (Albeit with the occasional raised eyebrow
)
Kibby and Colin are no exception. I was looking around our dirty, little alley and happened to look up. I noticed an old, neglected fire escape above us and wondered aloud if it still worked. Colin immediately climbed onto a windowsill, jumped up to grab the ladder, and swung it down to the ground. He and Kibby then promptly marched to the top and awaited their instructions.
We were stoked (and a little scared of trespassing charges), but we climbed up after them.
Ok, I lied a little. Not wanting to tempt the fates anymore then we already had and not knowing how much weight this rickety, old thing could hold, I kept my feet firmly on the ground. But, Aubrey worked her magic, as always. They totally didn’t need me.
The risk was so worth it. (Easy for me to say, right
If they hadn’t climbed 20 feet in the air, risked their lives, and a possible jail sentence, we would never have been able to see this awesome background. Throw in two awesome people and you’ve got one TOTALLY awesome photo.

We love doing urban, downtown photo shoots. There are always new places to find and adventures to be had. We can shoot the same city over and over again, and we always find something different.
Why hello, Mr. Tunnel-through-an-office-building. You make an awesome backdrop.
Thank you for tagging this wall, Mr. Gang Banger. My clients look really hot nestled up against it.
And last, but certainly not least: Thank you, Mr Parking Garage, for giving me my two favorite shots of the day. Although, I think Colin and Kibby did all the work here. It takes talent and some serious good looks to make a concrete building look hot, but they totally did.

So, there you have it. Now do you feel my pain? Are there ANY of these photos you could have beared to leave out?? I didn’t think so.
And it gets better! We just finished up Kibby and Colin’s bridal/groomal shoot, so stay tuned for that. It’s hot, hot, hot! (Literally and figuratively.)
All that’s left now is the actual wedding day itself and it’s less than a month away! It’s bound to be chock full of all the awesomeness you’ve witnessed here today. We can’t wait!
