Abbie – Age 3

I spend the morning with Abbie and her mom to get some photos for Abbie’s third birthday. She is such a cutie and the funniest 3 year old I know. She had a blast playing with my sun shade and other props and could hardly sit still. I had to work quickly to get her to look at the camera, but when she did…!

Hello, beautiful eyes! She has such a fun personality and it really shows in her photos.

Abbie is your typical little girl and loves-what else-dressing up! Her mom got her this cute fairy outfit and said she wants to wear it everywhere she goes.

Abbie tried to fly while playing fairy and fell and skinned her knee. Luckily it was at the end of the shoot, so we dried her tears and told her we could be done. She insisted we take one more of her and her “owie!”

Abbie – I had so much fun hanging out with you and your mom. Sorry about the scraped knee!

Everyone else – Stay tuned! We have been suuuuuper busy and have lots of shoots coming up in the next few weeks, including:

-Shelly & Danny’s engagement session

-3 local family sessions

-McKenna’s 1-year old session

-2 out-of-state weddings (Wisconsin, here we come!)

-1 out-of-state family session (California!)

-1 out-of-town reception (Sunny St. George, UT)

Whew! I think we are going to need a serious vacation after all that travel! Remember, we are always thrilled to shoot in new places, so if your upcoming wedding is out of state, or you and your family don’t live inside Utah, no problem! Contact us about travel packages!

Mike & Meagan – Sealed!

Meagan and Mike tied the knot a few years ago, and were sealed recently in the Salt Lake City Temple.

Meagan wanted a very vintage, old look to her photos. I loved her dress…it was cream and tan, with a huge skirt, and very pretty! It was her original wedding dress too.

After some fun close-ups…. (how beautiful are these two?!)

…It was time for a couple traditional SLC Temple photos. This is my favorite location, it is so perfect!

Congrats, you guys!

Brittani & Jake – Bridals

Remember the amazing backyard we told you about?  Check it out.  Brittani and Jake’s bridals are finally here! We went to Jake’s hometown of Heber, where his neighbor was gracious enough to let us take over his property for the afternoon.  The day was a little stormy and grey, but we made it work for us.  The overcast sky helped us get some moody images that I’m in LOVE with.

We’re seeing a new trend with bridal sessions lately.  Remember Ryanne and Braden?  Brittani was insistent that we include her soon-to-be-hubby, Jake, in her bridal portraits as well.  I’m definitely digging this trend, as it makes for some totally gorgeous photos.  A totally gorgeous couple and an amazing location doesn’t hurt either.

Seriously.  We just kept finding more and more awesome spots!  I love the perspective of the path and the trees in this photo.

The clouds opened up and it started to rain on us for a few minutes.  Luckily, there was this awesome bridge just down the road.  We ducked underneath it to stay dry and we were able to keep shooting.  The natural light shining in from around them made Jake and Brittani just glow.

They are so darling!  And so in love. :)

Something a little different…what do you think?

My favorite series of the day!  So sweet and tender.

And of course, this is a bridal session.  We have to get at least one of the gorgeous bride by herself.  Brittani looked so amazing.  I can’t even imagine how great she will look on the big day!

Brittani and Jake, we hope you love your photos.  We certainly do and we had a blast hanging out with you again.  We can’t wait for your wedding this weekend.  It’s sure to be amazing!
